Convious: Mystery & Publicity stunt

Generate qualified leads and create the meeting on a show: the story at the service of your communication to create a link with your prospects.

Brief & problem of our client

Convious is the ally of leisure and tourism players (amusement parks, museums, tourist sites, etc.). Thanks to an e-commerce platform in Saas, Convious develops a panel of tailor-made digital tools that work thanks to Artificial Intelligence (but also to their great team of developers). Their tool is intended to support their partners in improving the visitor experience and increasing e-commerce performance before, during and after their visit, by offering them a more fluid navigation adapted to their needs.

Before, during and after the visit.

As part of their participation in the Museum Connections show, Convious aimed to encourage around a hundred of their prospective visitors to visit their exhibitor stand, by attracting their attention before they came to the show. The objective is to create a first physical contact around their activity and the Convious solution, and to generate qualified leads.

The creative position of the agency

For this operation, Convious has chosen to win three of their prospects places for Roland Garros. And to bring in prospects, what could be better than a beautiful story, tinged with mystery?

The Travel-Insight team has therefore put together a scenario inspired by historical reality. Roland Garros, seasoned aviator, died on the front in 1918, leaves behind a woman he loved madly, Marcelle, as well as 5 secret copies of his edifying memoirs on the beginnings of aviation, but also on the First World War . These memories, lost, then found, were published for the first time in 1966; the full version will not be released until 2016.

Based on these facts, our team imagined the following scenario: before his death, in his will written at the front, Roland Garros entrusted Marcelle with the copies of his memoirs kept in a locked safe, in secret, and delivered a list of trusted people from which she must choose 3 people.

Unable to choose, Marcelle ends up mixing the keys with others, and sends a letter and a key to each person mentioned on this list…

You guessed it, this list is none other than the prospects of our client Convious! Everyone receives a sealed letter containing a key… and learns that a mysterious chest will be on the Convious stand at the Museum Connections fair. Everyone can literally hold the key to the mystery!
